Hatter. Fantastic. Jack attempted a smile that might have come out as more of a grimace. It was hard not to feel a little smug that the City had placed Alice in his apartment, though he wasn't laboring under any illusions that he had a chance of rekindling things with Alice.
All the same, he really didn't want her to end up with Hatter. Something about the man-or perhaps everything about him-just rubbed Jack the wrong way.
He did step aside to allow Hatter to enter.
"I'm surprised to see you, Hatter. Alice didn't mention that you were in the City."
