"Yeah. But... I was kind of right," Rufio grunted. He couldn't admit he was wrong about some things, it made him doubt himself. And he'd learned a long time ago that a leader who doubted himself wasn't any good at all. Hook certainly never did, and nither did the Indian Chief. Peter hadn't, either, so Rufio had spent a long time practicing not ever looking back or thinking twice.
He thought for a moment, then remembered something. "There's a guy who can't fly, but he can kind of. He uses a grapple hook thing. He kind of dresses like a dork but he's a good fighter, and the fake flying is cool," he said, remmebering the Batman. He hadn't really been clear on how the older man had moved around the way he did, but there had to be some secret to it.
