"Maybe it doesn't matter because worth is an odd concept made up by people who don't exactly live. Worth can't be added up and given a number. People aren't cattle, no matter what some would have you believe." The Amazon glanced at him, but on they walked. She was leading the way to some place with food.
"Mm, my special place can be the boy's or the girl's special place. Though, I'll admit I miss flying in the Black." She glanced up to the sky; it was a sad sort of smile there on her lips. She shook her head, pushing that thought of mind. "I understand wanting to fly." She said not so randomly. She really did understand, not that she'd ever flown on her own, but close enough.
"I.." She laughed softly, as something came to mind. "I don't have a special place here. I suppose you could say my apartment is somewhat special. The Park maybe. I know a girl who likes the theater or a dance floor. Another who loves an engine room, or the kitchen with real strawberries. Another who is so...giving, she can make any place special. The one she holds most dear is that place within herself that she shares on very rare occasions with her friends."
