Dinah appreciated the understanding. She didn't know what was best right now. Sitting around the house was just making things worse. She wanted to be out doing something productive. Preferably killing the vampire that had beaten the crap out of her and Dean and terrorized Hank.
She wanted to be doing a lot of things besides sitting around thinking about Jake, but it seemed everything she touched turned to shit lately.
Her eyes teared up a bit, but she didn't let the tears fall. She just sort of shook her head. It took a little bit to find her voice.
"Some days are better than others."
She didn't want to linger too long in the hallway, and she was trying not to just break down, so she led the way toward the dining room.
