Dean just watched the mystic before giving a hmph of sarcasm. She really had no idea how she sounded. He had given Hank a nod, and setting up surveillance if they could wasn't a bad idea. Certainly not the popping around business, whatever that was. If the comms kid was as good as he'd really need to be to be here, they could probably work something out. His attention shifted from the room to the bird.
"So? I'm an ordinary human; you think I'm going to let that stop me from hunting his ass down and ganking it?" He just smiled at her; he knew how ordinary a human he was, and he had nothing on most of the people in this room. He didn't address the trust issue.
"Well, guess that's my cue." He waited long enough for her to head to the elevator before he turned and walked away with her, his hand resting for a moment on her back. As the elevator opened up, he turned to face those he was leaving behind. "Sorry, I couldn't stay for the cake and coffee." The smile was almost an eat-shit one, and he even gave no one in particular a wink but winked anyway.
