Dinah frowned at the mention of the blood. She gave Dean an apologetic and uncertain glance.
"We can't be sure of that. Zee has a point."
She looked over at Hank, raising an eyebrow and almost silently asking if he had any theories on that.
"F-" she bit her tongue to keep herself from saying the name. She had promised to leave Fred out of this. "Someone told me that he could track me once I've had his blood. I'm not sure how deep that connection runs."
She felt dirty, tainted. She looked around the room nervously, waiting for the expressions that would tell her that she'd let down her team in yet another way.
Then she met Zee's eyes.
"I really don't want to use you as bait," she said gently. "Not unless that's our last resort. If your blood smells differently to him, he might realize you're a threat and react accordingly. I know you're hell on wheels, especially with the supernatural world, but I want to make sure that whatever we do doesn't have anyone taking any unnecessary risks."
She glanced over at Jensen.
"How feasible is it to set up surveillance on him? We know where his club is. From there, I think we could find out more about where else he goes, assuming there are enough cameras to tap into on the way to... anywhere else he might be headed to."
