Dinah watched as Hank stepped over to the side. She felt a great tug of sympathy for him, but she got the hint and left it alone.
She returned Zee's glare with a helpless and apologetic look of her own. She hadn't had any more warning than the mystic.
Jensen, at least, didn't seem to exhibit a lot of surprise. For that she was grateful. Now all that remained was Oliver. She hoped that Oliver's reaction wouldn't be the straw that broke the camel's back.
It was only then that she realized that she was still holding Dean's hand. She certainly hadn't meant to hang on this long. She wanted him to feel comfortable, and maybe she needed a little bit of comfort herself over the prospect of calling the team together for something that scared the hell out of her.
She had faith in all of their abilities, but she also still didn't have a set plan in mind. Which meant that they were all at risk while they tried to find a way to stop the vampire.
She gave Dean's fingers one more light squeeze and then let go. She addressed Zatanna first.
"Silver arrows should be right up Oliver's alley," she said, nodding her approval of Shadowcrest's offering.
Then she turned her attention to Jensen and gave him a soft smile.
"Good work," she said, in response to the map of the City. "That's going to be a lot of help.
She had made a point to tell everyone that she would be bringing someone to the meeting, though between that and Hank's surprise transformation, so far things felt very disjointed.
She moved a little closer to Jensen and peered over his shoulder.
"Can you bring up Fangtasia?" she asked, giving him the streets that she had last known it to be on. "That's the vampire's bar. It would be good to get some observation going over there. Once we learn a bit about his usual daily routine, we can stage our plan around that."
She fell into silent thought for just a moment.
"Is there any way we can look into other potential weaknesses?" she asked aloud. She looked at Hank first. "Perhaps the blood sample I gave you a few weeks ago could be analyzed. Since it has some of the properties from his blood, maybe it could tell us something?"
Then she looked at Zee and Dean.
"And any history you two have with vampires that might apply in this situation would be worth exploring as well."
