Dinah knew how much it had meant to Hank to blend in. To just appear 'normal.' She honestly had never had a problem with his feet, but she could understand wanting to just be like everyone else.
So when she heard his explanation, there was a mixture of sadness and concern on her face. Once the handshake was done, she leaned in and gave her doctor a brief hug.
"I think you look even more ready for combat than you did with King Kong. Which is saying something, because you were a crucial member of the team that day."
The way she said it insinuated that he was a crucial member of the team every day, but he had been especially helpful on that particular day. He had saved more than a few people after all.
The elevator doors dinged closed and the elevator started to rise.
Dinah reached out for Dean's hand yet again and assuming he let her take his hand, she gave it another squeeze. She didn't stop to think about the fact that maybe she was being a little bit touchy for someone who was supposed to be just a friend, but she was glad he was here and she wanted him to be as comfortable as anyone else on the team.
