"I guess we could talk to him." Charlie nodded, his hands once more behind his head. He wasn't sure that Ted would want to or even be able to have the talk. Ted was open to a good bit, but he didn't think that the man with the brain for money would be okay with and open to discussing the particulars of Jake and Lucy-Belle and what they did when they weren't around.
"It is a big house. It needs more people in it. We could rent out the rooms. We'd need a maid." The detective leaned expertly back in his chair and started to think about it.
"Are you sure?" His attention came back to his partner. "You could have more than one room. We could put in a shooting range. The cats may not like that. You could be on the other end of the house." Charlie nodded. "And you could always get a hug any time you want. Reese only came to my house when she was drunk. You don't have to be drunk to come to my house. Which, isn't my house anymore, but I live there."
