She nodded again. He was right, again. If Dean was mad, she would apologize, but that was really all she could do in the end. If he wanted more? What then? Was that what she wanted?
Jennifer wasn't sure if that was something she should pose to her partner. Not that he would have minded, but it really felt like something she should figure out for herself. She was an adult, after all. Even if she hadn't really been acting like one.
She had looked up Dean's jacket, and had almost gone and read his books too before realizing how weird it might be after. Peering into somebody's past was a normal sort of cop thing to do. Reading books that detailed a lot more was just a little strange.
