Dean had held her, rubbing her back and shoulders now and then, adding a pet to her hair. He held her and didn't give her one 'I told you so.' For now, it went without saying. He softly squeezed her, letting her know it was okay to cry. His brows rose at the mention of Jesse; the guy was getting around, making with the good Samaritan routine.
"It's okay." The hunter gave her a soft smile, glancing down at the wet spot. He brushed some hair from her face, and if this were any other woman, he might have leaned in and kissed her. Maybe. Probably not. He'd changed more than some would suspect or believe.
"I'll just bill you for cleaning later." He knew that the shirt wasn't worth a cleaning bill, but it seemed like a good joke at the moment. "Damned either way. Least he's somewhere familiar. Not saying that makes it better or easier, but it's something. And, it's not here." He almost added something about Joker, but thought better of it for now. Dinah didn't need more bad news.
"So, Jesse helped you out? Guy's not so bad for being a god." He smirked. "I've met some and other than angels they are some of the biggest dicks out there." Yes, he was changing the subject.
"Want help getting the windows in?" He gave her a smile, ready to be put to work it seemed.
