"If you can do that-send them home-that would be good," Jack said.
He didn't question it quite as much as some might have.
"You're not going to give them some sort of tea, are you? Because I don't want my citizens to get dependent on any sort of mood-changing drugs."
He'd made a firm promise to keep emotion teas and anything else that might be addictive off his streets, and he had done as much as he could to follow through on that promise.
