Fred's brows furrowed at how that sounded. When it was sad that way, it sounded even worse.
"I thought he was a good guy, or wanted him to be. He said it wasn't a drug, and it wasn't addictive. Honestly, I don't know if it is. Dinah seems okay. He gave her his blood. She's not running off to find him. I never did either. I just didn't say 'no.'" She sighed softly. "I liked not feeling less than is all.
