He hadn't actually seen Fred in person in...well, long enough to have stopped caring about shaving or combing his hair in any semblence of social acceptance. People were lucky he changed his clothes. YES! He showered! Other than that the only thing that got any sort of attention from him was the lab. That was always impeccable. Except for the withered and drying flowers in a cheesy plastic vase off to the side on top of a filing cabinet that held more dust than the surface of the moon. Seriously. Who uses filing cabinets anymore?
There was a lot Jensen was focused on right now. He was mapping the traffic cameras while everything was still so he could have a visual guide to how things are supposed to be. It was time consuming and sensative so he had thrown himself into getting all of the angles loaded, collated and put in some sort of catalog while working on a program in his head that could be used as a search and reference tool.
Which meant that when the doors opened he was hunched over a console, his attention locked onto the monitors he was using for this project and he didn't look up. It might be in doubt whether he heard someone come in or if he was just ignoring them.
