Hank looked up as the door opened, blinking owlishly at the man for a split second. "Pardon?" he asked, unfamiliar with the phrase. Then he realized it must have been something to do with his letter. "Oh! Er, yes. Sorry, I wasn't checking my messages to see if anybody was coming." He was used to people making appointments, although why he should expect his one-manned lab to operate the same as the hospital escaped him.
He got up, putting down his pet project and then walking over to the sink to wash his hands. Then he grabbed his clipboard, motioning to one of the examination tables. "Have a seat. It's mostly just a few questions and a quick physical. And a blood sample, of course."
