"I know." She gave Dinah that grateful look, but there was something in it that said Zee wouldn't be cashing that chip in often. Dinah had responsibilities and a life of her own. She didn't need to be babysitting Zee.
"You know I had him over to the house around Christmas. Jack, that is." She huffed and shook her head looking back to her water bottle. "He never had Christmas before. I wanted to show him some of it."
