"Wow." Fred set the burrito down. "Not saying you're hungry, but you must be pretty upset about something. I mean, you seem kind of upset. I don't mind listening. I'm really good at listening, I promise. I talk a lot, but I can listen."
She turned in her own chair. Her hand lifted to stop the other chair from spinning any more. He was definitely upset about something. Then again, he might have just wanted to work in silence.
"I guess I could go." She wasn't pouting, but she wasn't always the best at hiding her emotions. She didn't want to go, yet she didn't want to be in the way. She didn't like her friend not being happy.
