Rufio's eyebrows went up when she jumped, and then he laughed, though she didn't say much so he didn't respond either.
He took the drink offered and sniffed, then sipped it. His eyes lit up. "This is a new kind," he said, drinking it before he glanced at what she was pouring, eyes and grin teasing her. "You don't want any magic soda? Are you old already?"
Her question about the building, however, had him shaking his head as he chugged down the rest of the soda. "Nope. And I fly all over the City, all the time. But that's what the City does, it brings you your own place. Or something like it, maybe it's a little different somehow. But it's yours."
His hand thrust out with the empty glass towards her. "More!"
