Lindsey shook his head. Those were things that Wolfram and Hart probably couldn't control. They could hire some kind of mystic again, like they'd done with Cordy, to make sure that Zee couldn't teleport. But the technology thing didn't really sound like them.
He sighed, and then scowled.
"I'm tryin' to figure out just how worried I need to be that I'm stuck here," he said.
He debated not saying anything more, but she'd worked with Batman. BATMAN. Lindsey had a hard time believing Zee'd ever be anything but a white hat.
"I, uh, I used to work for a big firm, back home," Lindsey said. He smiled, just slightly, just for a second. "Lotta prestige. Big office. Palm trees. Lotta money. Paradise, right?"
Lindsey shook his head. "They were the bad guys. And they aren't limited to one dimension. I wanna rule out them bein' here. Or bein'... The City."
