Lindsey grabbed two mugs down from the cabinet, eyebrows drawing into a line. He guessed it made sense that they all knew each other, he just hadn't expected that.
"I dunno if you wanna go thankin' me," he said. "It was a shit position to be in for everybody but the dick lawyer the City sent."
And that was true. Jensen hadn't even wanted to be there. That was Lindsey's favorite part. He shook his head slightly.
"I know Fred. Fred... I don't think Fred knows me. I think we got taken from different points in time. Which sounds absolutely psychotic." He smirked. "Girl I knew could run this City into the ground if she wanted. And I hope she does."
He turned and opened the fridge, removing a carton of milk and setting it out, too.
