"Nobody's ever--where are you even from, anyway? Oh, I mean--if you're from somewhere where they don't have good medical care or something, that's not your fault and it's really rude of me to have brought it up, and I'm sorry for that in that case, but it's still really weird."
Foot now firmly inserted in mouth, she flew over to actually sit on the roof. Flying was fun, but hovering in one place took a lot of energy. She settled down, dangling her legs over the side of the building. "Well... maybe. But I haven't actually gone looking for a home yet, have I? I'm only passing through." She nodded firmly. Except... this place wasn't so bad, really. Nobody had even so much as shot at her yet. That was nice. "...a fort. Really, that's... that's nice, but no thanks," she said, smiling. "I'm paid up at the motel for another two nights. I suppose that'll give me some time to look for a home if I can't get out, won't it?" She frowned, her wings drooping as well. "I'm not going to be able to get out of here, am I?"
She raised an eyebrow at Rufio's plan for immortality. "Really? Killing people forever, that's your plan?" She scoffed. "Yeah, I want to grow up. I want to die old in my bed with lots of loved ones around me. I'll be lucky if I get to twenty, much less old old."
