A leprechaun? The woman had turned a leprechaun into a dog?
She was either stark raving mad or there was a story here. Lois was going to bet on it being a story, because she didn't seem crazy.
Of course, now she was talking about mortals like... well, like she wasn't one.
Lois made a face at the mention of heroes.
"Yeah, usually I'd agree with you on heroes. I love a good hero just as much as the next girl. But the last hero I met... well, let's just say that he risked his life to save mine twice and then he tried to tell me to make up a pack of lies for my story. Then the jackass kissed me to distract me so he could steal my notebook."
She was definitely still pissed off about that. She forced herself to take a deep breath, reminding herself to calm down. It wasn't going to help anything to get all worked up about that when there was nothing she could do about it right now. Better to save that fury for whenever she did track down her 'hero.'
Instead, she focused all of her attention back to Jeannie.
