"Actually, I have a sort of... um, typo problem," she said, in response to the comment about her being a good typist.
But she always got the story out. That was the most important thing. Spelling, typos... that was why there were editors. Getting the message across, and telling whatever story needed to be told was more important than making sure everything was picture perfect.
"Actually, I'm just looking for residents that might be out of the ordinary. You know, special powers, that sort of thing. Know anyone like that?"
Maybe it was a longshot, but it never hurt to ask.
