Inara, being Buddhist, didn't believe in multiple gods. She wasn't really sure if she believed in one, but she liked the idea of something existing out there, something you could pray to. A greater presence than mankind, with their ships and their terraforming and societies. Something more simple.
So she nodded, understanding where he was coming from. In her day, it was a lot simpler to blame the unexplained on mechanical failure, but she knew he came from a vastly different world. She turned her face to the water and raised her chin slightly, welcoming the cool wind on her face.
"Sounds wonderful," she said, a gentle smile on her lips.
