Lois raised an eyebrow and couldn't quite suppress a smirk.
"As a generous ex, I'm going to let that one pass us by," she said with an eyebrow waggle.
"So, what's the last thing you remember? I'm actually surprised that nobody at the Planet got tipped off that you'd gone missing. Kind of big news-billionaire playboy disappears into thin air."
She was trying to keep things light. It was easier than panicking about the fact that she and Ollie had been plunked down into the middle of some strange City that was apparently under some sort of time warp, given the fact that she'd just seen him a few days ago and yet he claimed to have been here for months. Not that she thought he was lying, but she had a hard time wrapping her mind around the possibility of time moving differently here. It was easier for her to half-wonder if this place wasn't just playing tricks with everyone's mind and making it seem like months had passed when it was merely hours. She was still, of course, operating under the assumption that Ollie was from her time and that they'd just managed to get taken within a day or two of each other.
