"Wonderful. Or..." Fred looked down at her clipboard. "Maybe we can do it another time? I've been working on something, and I was hoping to get it down as I walked. If it's not walls, it's walking and coffee. Or coffee and walls. Sometimes you just need a lot of space to write on." She didn't sound overly apologetic about wall writing. She wasn't overly comfortable with the idea, seeing as it usually meant she was crazy, but she wasn't going to apologize. There was something very nifty about having a huge continuous surface to work on; she'd really have to work that out. Maybe a large piece of butcher paper?
"Actually, I just had an idea. I hate to greet, eat, and run, but I think I might have a way to keep from writing on walls. Course, I can't write on Angel's walls - exposed brick. But, this might work better." Fred started gathering up her things. "Rain check on the maps, please? And, just talk to Dinah, okay?" There was a definite happy thoughtful smile settling on the brainy woman's lips and in her eyes.
