Fred would have said something about the impossibility to leave anyone out of a conversation. Relationships assisted in forming people and their personalities, not only that but how their conversations might go. Instead, the brainy female just took a sip of coffee and smiled a little.
"Zee. I like it. Not that you were looking for my approval on your name." Fred smiled a little more, taking the offered hand. "Fred Burkle. People call me Fred." She didn't bother introducing herself as "Winifred." It was who she was by choice.
"So, do you make good money as a magician?" She let go of the other woman's hand after giving it a proper shake. "Private investigators don't make a lot of money, not that I'm the world's best p.i. I am a decent dispatcher. Pretty good with puzzles and stuff though." She didn't say that she was actually a genius, or damn near. It seemed a little rude.
