"I have my own building. The roof fell in but it's still better than one of those little boxes," he said, folding his arms over his chest. He hadn't mentioned the Fort to anybody else yet, but she seemed like she could keep important information like that to herself.
"It has to be no or yes," he waggled his eyebrows at her, then shrugged. It kind of made sense.
When the Lost Boys were brought up by her it made him actively think about them, and he quieted. Then he took a deep breath and tried to speak normally, though his voice was a bit lower as he pushed away the pain of being away from them. "No. They're not here. They were orphans though. We all lived in the same tree and fought the pirates together... but they didn't come here with me. I think they're back in Neverland." At least he hoped so. He was oldest and most independant of all of the Lost Boys, so he was able to take care of himself here. The others would have a harder time being on their own, though.
