Zoe wasn't happy either. His strange set of standards were...strange. She liked that he wanted to protect those he viewed as needing help, but he didn't seem to understand that women weren't exactly the weaker ones. She stood up straight, sighing and shaking her head.
"Never point a sword unless you're willing to use it. It only makes you look like a child who can't back his threats." She knew that was a risky thing to say. "Never believe that someone is unarmed. A conventional weapon isn't always the best one."
She looked around then at him. The warrior woman wasn't going to run with her tail between her legs, but she knew that he wasn't going to let this go. "I will be back." She pulled a few bills from her pocket and set them on the ground. "You should be in a home with a family. Not here protecting women who may be using you or who may get you killed. This should feed you for a while." She motioned to the bills.
"Eat good food, not trash. And find a home." She started to back away.
