Zoe watched the boy for a moment; it had been a while since anyone had suggested she go home because it wasn't safe. Jesse's worry didn't count in this. She stepped closer to him.
"That's too bad." Zoe moved rather quickly, her hand on his sword hand. Her fingers pressed into his wrist, hitting pressure points to make sure he couldn't use the hand as long as she held him. Her other hand was at his shoulder. She was taller than him easily, even with that ridiculous hair, so she used the height difference to upset his balance to push him against the wall. Her body tilted in such a way that should he try to attack with the other hand, she could move away quickly, even if it meant a little blood may be taken.
"You should not be on the streets, playing games. These men are not part of some fun you've cooked up. They will hurt you." She did indeed glare for a moment before her eyes softened. "You are not ready for this."
