Rufio recognized quickly that the other was trying to be defensive, so he pressed the attack. If he had to back Jack off the platform he'd do it. "I dunno. I don't have a problem with me. Just with all you old farts out here who think I'm the bad guy!" He laughed. He didn't care about what others thought of him, but he did recognize the faces they made when they saw him.
"You said you'd have a plan. I'm just curious what you're gonna try to make me do, bossman."
He changed up his attacks, making his opponent work to keep up with him, though he was also paying attention just in case the other decided to try to attack anyway. As he fought he remembered a thought that had occurred to him during the blonde man's speech.
"If you really wanted to do anything good you'd do something about the losers down by the docks. The ones who bully girls and old old people. But you're gonna focus on what's easy, the families and the people who look good and are out in the daytime. You don't care about everybody, just the ones in this crowd, and that's a stupid way to be if you're a leader."
