"Thanks Zee," Dinah said with a small smile. "It's all right. I suppose a girl can only get lied to so many times before enough is enough, right?"
Her smile grew a little kinder as Zatanna asked if they were good. She nodded.
"Yeah, we're good. We've worked together a few times over the last few years and... you've really found your way, I think."
She made a face.
"And have I mentioned how bizarre this place is yet? It's weird to think that you and Barbara... that I need to fill you two in on things that happened in the past. Or my past at any rate. And of course, as I mentioned there are people from all different realities."
She chewed her lip, really not wanting to have to be the one to warn Zatanna about the comic books and all of that. But it needed to be done. Her old teammate deserved to know.
"Which reminds me, you might get some strange looks for fighting crime in fishnets. People here aren't quite as used to costumed heroes. For that matter, some of them come from realities where we don't exist outside of fiction."
