Logan knew abusive fathers better than anyone. He knew the signs. And this guy... wasn't giving off any of them.
He seemed genuinely sad about his son's suicide. Which was yet another thing that Logan knew a little too well.
It wasn't hard to put on the sympathetic act for this. It was less of an act and a little more genuine.
"Why don't you tell us about what happened to Timmy?" Logan asked gently.
Mr. Fitch hesitated for a second, but then looked as though he was ready to let the entire story spill out. Perhaps it was having someone who actually seemed to sympathize, or perhaps he just needed his story to be known.
