Fred wasn't sure she liked the dress, but it didn't seem that bad. And the shoes? Fred reached out to take them; she was trying to feel thankful, honest. Her mother would have been very disappointed in her if she appeared rude, but really, this woman probably didn't know the difference between rude and...nice?
"Those are...okay." Fred looked around, maybe one of the people in the store would stop this. Maybe not. They seemed a little afraid of the small woman; then again, Fred wasn't sure she'd blame them. "Less substance?"
Fred laughed at the thought. She needed something with less substance. Actually she needed a nice big wall and a marker; sometimes the City really made the once cave girl want to draw on the walls, maybe work out a few equations that had yet to be solved. This short woman probably came from a different universe too, but really, the woman would have fit in LA rather easily.
