Dinah thought about the question. Time definitely seemed to move differently here. Not to mention that she hadn't exactly kept track of the calendar since Jake had been kidnapped. Even now that she was back, she was still in a bit of a limbo where she usually didn't even know what day of the week it was without having to check her phone or check with Alfred.
"About nine months, I think?"
She ordered an espresso and looked over at him.
"You might not get a call about a place to live. You might just stumble upon something that looks familiar-maybe like somewhere you used to live. Or something that feels like you belong there. You'll probably find a key in your pocket if that happens."
Once the waitress returned and set the coffees in front of them, Dinah took a sip of hers.
"I have to say, you're really taking this fairly well. Though I suppose you're still going with the 'this is all a dream' theory?"
She couldn't blame him for that, but it was slightly amusing all the same.
