Dinah had chosen to go in the front door instead of the window. Knocking on police officer's windows was more of a Bat thing anyway. For that matter, she had opted for civilian clothes instead of one of her crimefighting costumes. She didn't have a secret identity to protect, so it seemed more sensible that way.
When she was buzzed in, Dinah made her way in the direction the receptionist had indicated for Jennifer's desk. She found the brunette fairly easily. Luckily, it was later in the evening so the station had cleared out somewhat. Dinah could only hope that that meant they wouldn't be overheard.
She stopped in front of Jennifer's desk, smiling a little bit at the woman who had put her job on the line for Jake. Dinah still wasn't sure how to convey her gratitude for that particular matter.
"Hi Jennifer," Dinah greeted her. Dinah waited for hopefully the glimmer of recognition, or perhaps a look of confusion if Jennifer perhaps didn't recognize her out of context. After all, last time she had been in her Black Canary costume in a meeting full of people.
