Dean tried to move slowly, quietly through the wooded area to limit how much he announced his presence. Then again, he knew his scent would do the job rather easily for him. There was no real breeze, so he couldn't even stand downwind. He kept moving, then there was a feeling that he was being watched. It was a feeling hunters developed over time, seeing as there was always something out there waiting for when the hunters weren't ready. The bad somethings that wanted to be rid of those that hunted them.
He came to a stop when the black wolf stepped out of the trees and onto the path before him. The thing wanted him to see it? He flipped the safety, holding his Colt up at the ready. Heart and head, heart and head.
"So, you're the one who all this?" He'd seen the picture at the zoo, and again some of the information Jen had shared with him. This looked a lot like the damn thing that had broken out of the zoo. It was much bigger and way cooler than he thought it'd be. This was supposed to be simple, but he should have known there was no such thing as simple when hunting the supernatural.
