Dean saw the emotion, and it was nice seeing it. This was more the Castiel he knew, the one that actually felt and acted more...human. He worried about the Castiel who didn't...act normal. He took another bite of lettuce, crunching it as he thought about the right answer.
"Joker," Dean started, then realized swallowing what he was chewing would probably make explaining a little easier. "Joker kidnapped Jake. Dinah asked for help to get Jake. Joker, being the psycho that is or was, set up boobytraps. At least Sam and I didn't get blown up by a rigged toy dog." As sick as Joker was, Dean had to admire his crazy weapons making. That was about all he could admire when it came to that sick fuck.
"Okay, but no weird girly petting shit." Dean held out his hand, not sure he was comfortable with the angel touching his head. He certainly knew he didn't want the angel going for the chest; that looked like it hurt, whatever he did in there.
