The cold night air combined with her own anger had sobered her up quite a bit. All the same, Dinah had a solid rule about not driving with more than one drink in her system. So instead she waited on hold for someone with the City's information to pick up so she could get the number for a cab company.
Dinah heard the door to Harry's place open again. If she hadn't, it was just as likely that she might have ended up flipping him out of self defense. She half considered doing that anyway, but instead brushed his hand off and turned to face him.
"Harry, I'm a grown woman. It's not your place to decide when I have to go home to sleep it off and I'm perfectly capable of taking a cab home."
She hesitated and hung up the phone then, sighing. He did have a point about leaving Jake alone for too long though. Who knew how long it would take for the cab driver to navigate the City streets to get here. And she really didn't want to have to leave again the next day to get her car. Her shoulders slumped slightly and she fished her keys out of her purse and handed them over to Harry.
