Rufio's ears perked when he heard footsteps coming towards him, and he crouched down, remaining perfectly silent and waiting for the person to pass by. It was an adult, and if that sword was anything to go by, the first true pirate Rufio'd seen since he got to this strange place.
He paused, then turned and ran silently through the woods, his skills at covert movement not failing him just because the trees here were so small. When he was ahead of the man on the path he surged to the side and leapt out of the greenery into the path of the pirate, the pure gold sword flashing as he let out a true Pan crow, then swooped the point towards the man's throat, held expertly.
"Freeze, pirate. Drop your sword and valuables and run, and maybe you'll be granted mercy," he shouted ferociously, taking on an aggressive body stance and a malicious grin that stretched his entire face. He felt no fear facing this man, he'd stopped being afraid of pirates so long ago he could barely remember what it was to feel the emotion in relation to humans. Magic folk could scare him, and some parts of Neverland were too dangerous to go to, but mere men? Pah.
