Ivy had mostly kept to her park over the last few days. There suddenly seemed to be an abundance of wild animals in the City, and they all seemed to want to relieve themselves on her trees, or her bushes, or her flowers. So she'd been playing defense as best as she could. There were now a few less animals in the City thanks to her killer vines.
So when she heard someone slam into a tree, her temper was already short. She rushed out to that tree, ready for a fight.
When she saw a teenage boy leaning against one of the trees, Ivy's anger abated for the moment. Instead, she wondered if perhaps this youth might be turned around.
Ivy stepped forward into view, a welcoming smile on her face.
