"Well, you're in just the right form to enjoy it." The crone had batted playfully at him, nothing that even came close to suggesting violence. Her hand lifted to rub a little between his eyes and ears before he backed up.
"You want me, to get in there? Are you sure you're just a sweet innocent polar bear, Mr. Henry?" She laughed, shaking her head. Well, the boy certainly seemed more outgoing in this form. Perhaps what he needed was a little more beast in him; perhaps he was all too stuck in his head and needed to be more in his body.
"There's nothing in there that would get a little thing like me, is there?" She took a few steps to the water. The last time she'd been near an amount of water that was more than a hot tub full had been a particular swimming pool she did not like thinking about.
