Jareth tilted his head slightly to the side and regarded the other man. Curious. Why would this man be looking for Kings Court? It wasn’t like a lot of people sought out that particular street. At least not from what he had seen. Perhaps he was wrong.
He’d always thought there was a bit of irony to having a street called King’s Court. Especially since there were few residences on it and one such residence was his own. A King living on Kings Court… ironic.
“What’s your business on King’s Court,” he asked and brought his hands together in front of him. Not quite a defensive pose, but one that allowed him to maneuver into one at a moment’s notice if it deemed necessary.
It was of no surprised to Jareth that the street had moved around. He was growing accustomed to that himself.
