Jack returned the nod with a small smile of his own. The stranger's outfit might have been unusual by the City standards, but to Jack it wasn't any stranger than he'd found ordinary fashion upon his arrival in New York City. It seemed this particular City just had its own styles and perhaps a bit more variety than he'd found in New York or Wonderland.
"Good evening."
He struggled with his own pride for just a moment before realizing that this was the only person he could see on the street and it was likely he might not run into anyone else to ask.
"Pardon me, but you wouldn't know where Kings Ct is, would you? It seems to have... moved on me."
Yes, it sounded a bit like nonsense, even as Jack said it aloud. And he'd certainly had his share of nonsense. All the same, it was apparently a fact of life in the City, from what he'd discovered so far.
