"Oh, it's fine. You can stay until it's safe to go. I'd feel really bad if I turned someone out and they were bitten." The girl smiled, a quick glimpse of teeth. If Arthur hadn't had the gun, Raven probably would've left him to mingle, but she couldn't un-see what she'd seen. Maybe he was an undercover cop. Perhaps he was carrying it for personal protection. There were a lot of innocent reasons to have a gun, but she couldn't bring herself to leave the regulars alone with the stranger.
"Have you been in the Magic Box before?" She asked. The shop seemed a less confrontational topic of conversation than Arthur's firearm or his profession.
