Hank rumbled happily. "Thank you Doctor. I shall repay you as soon as I'm able," he said, grabbing the meat and then pulling it towards him, leaning down and starting to lick the jam off. He couldn't help it, it was just so -good- to smell, and despite his intellectual recoiling he found the flavors meshed well. He licked all the jam off first, turning the meat over, then started to tear into it. Despite being mostly frozen his teeth ripped into the meal easily, and he let out a very satisfied bear sound as he got into his meal.
He looked up after a bit, chewing thoughtfully, then looked down. "A wolf would instinctively run for nature, would it not? They do not like humans or human structures." The Doctor had probably already thought of that, but Hank was enjoying his meal too much to be that focused.
The large steak disappeared in a few moments, and the paper was licked clean. Hank lapped at the corner till his tongue caught it and pulled it up, catching it in his teeth before going over to the Doctor's side and looking up. "Tash?" he asked around the paper in his mouth. Now that he had something in his stomach the bear's mind seemed to be subsiding, and he wanted to be a clean guest here, despite the lack of visible garbage can there must be someplace to put the wrapping, yes?
