Hank was, needless to say, stunned when she fell against him crying. He'd never dealt with a crying girl before, ever. But he put his arms around her carefully and rubbed her back, all he could think of to do as he listened to her, wondering at the feel of her tears soaking through his shirt.
"Don't worry about it at all," he said quickly when she apologized, looking down at her. He tried to choose his words carefully, not wanting to upset her more. "It is well accepted the world over that those who have passed on remain with us, close to our hearts and minds. I don't know if that helps matters but... you know, when you do see her again, I'm sure she will express nothing but love and pride for how you've grown to control your powers."
