He blushed when she got on his bed, but carefully made room for her, keeping a respectful distance. He watched the computer, eyes lighting up. This wasn't far from what he worked with at the CIA, but definitely better, faster... he'd have to find out how and improve his outdated design. He gazed at the information from some source that seemed near a dictionary and quickly scrolled down, reading the article within a matter of minutes. It was hard to keep reading while the page was scrolling, after all, he wondered if he could come up with something to make it easier. He quickly realized the highlight words were leading to other, more detailed articles, but he resisted clicking anything. He was here with company, a girl who needed attention more than he needed to explore the science and technology section of the internet.
"Amazing," he breathed, looking up, then noticed her demeanor change. "But a list of historical events is nothing compared to you. A young woman with powers and knowledge like that," he rubbed the back of his head and then smiled weakly. "I've always wished to meet somebody like you. Somebody with... gifts. I don't... I don't suppose it is a unique talent in your world? Or can everybody there perform magic?"
