Dinah listened to the pixie's story, her mind rebelling against the facts as they were presented. By the time Missy was done, tears had streaked her face yet again, though she didn't remember allowing them to fall.
Her voice was raw, so she wordlessly stepped into Harry's touch. She leaned against him for support.
If this information was right, Jake was alive. He was alive and badly hurting.
She had no doubt that the Joker was capable of tormenting someone to the point that their mind broke. She had no doubt also that Jake hadn't made a conscious decision to hurt anyone. Not in any sane state of mind, at any rate.
She waited for the pixie to finish, albeit not very patiently.
