"I ain't never said I was a good one." He grinned back. He didn't mind holding her hand. Didn't mind the physical contact.
"And they ain't said no. Yet. If a gal says no, she generally means it, and I leave it at that. There're just ones I ain't pushed my luck with yet, but I'm workin up to it."
He couldn't help but think of Zoe. Zoe who he really didn't want knowing about his habits, because of the way she was. He didn't want to look bad to her. He didn't want her to think that he wasn't treating her seriously.
Of course, it might look like he wasn't, considering he was out holding hands with another female.
But if there were anything really to happen there, things like this would stop. He could settle down. He'd done it before, and wasn't unwilling to do it again. Until then, however, fun was to be had.
